Great album from a version of the band that was just a shell of the original. Thanks for the most part to the same people who produced Twelve Dreams, and a couple of players called the Staehely Brothers, who were brought into the band just for this album. California came back for the next one and they were gone. But this is the second best album the band ever put out. Had they stayed when Randy returned, Spirit would have probably been a factor well into the 70's.
